Arts Council Partnership Agreement

Since the Artists in Schools program is a tripartite partnership between the school, the artist, and the United Arts Council, specific contracts must be used when booking artists through this program. United Arts provides three distinct templates for schools. The service contract can be used for all assemblies. Workshop/residency and writer residencies require similar but distinct models. Links to all three contracts will be available after the application deadline. Grants from the National Endowment for the Arts` National and Regional Partnership Agreement are awarded to the country`s 56 state and judicial arts agencies (SAAs) and six regional arts organizations (RAOs) whose members include AASs. Partnership support is also available for the national service organization for state art agencies. Support for partnership agreements enables these agencies and organisations to respond to needs identified by public planning with their members, partners and stakeholders. This investment in locally defined priorities broadens the reach and impact of the federal government and translates national leadership into local benefits. Government partnership agreements include general funding for the implementation of all aspects of saa`s strategic plan and some funding for folk and traditional arts, arts education and access to underserved communities. Participating SAAs also receive assistance in managing the Poetry Out Loud program in their respective states. Regional Partnership Agreements include general funding for the implementation of all aspects of the OAR Strategic Plan and dedicated funding to support touring and presentation activities that promote live artistic experiences for the public, with a focus on mentoring underserved communities. Secondly, culture creators select the appropriate contract and supplement it with the information confirmed by the artist and the school.

Fifth, contracts will be subject to final approval. Save the contract in PDF format and send it by e-mail to [email protected]. Submit contracts with all three signatures on time. The fully signed documents are then forwarded to all parties and the appropriate funds are guaranteed until the program is completed.
